Signal 'XXX' source contention at component [COMPONENT] ''.

Description

This error occurs when two or more component outputs conflict. For example, two output signals may have been assigned the same signal name.

Resolution

Rename the conflicting signals so that each output signal has a unique name.

Input port 'XXX' is floating. A signal source must be provided.

Description

A component is expecting an input signal but has not received one.

Resolution

Make sure that some sort of input signal is provided. If not sure what the signal should be, or still developing the case, one can use a dummy signal to input any value to resolve the issue.

Signal 'XXX' dimension mismatch -> Y != Z

Description

A component is expecting an input signal with dimension Y, but has recieved an input with dimension Z. Dimensions must match.

Resolution

Edit the input signal so that the dimensions match. Use dummy input constants to satisfy that input dimensions must match.
